WHAT IS MRI ENTEROGRAPHY?

Magnetic resonance enterography is a painless, minimally-invasive imaging test that allows your RAO radiologist to obtain comprehensive pictures of your small intestine, without the use of radiation. This safe, sophisticated imaging technique uses a magnetic field to create highly detailed images of the small bowel to diagnose conditions such as inflammation, irritation, abscesses, tears, obstructions, fistulas, bleeding and other problems.

Because it uses no radiation, MRI enterography is a highly useful tool in diagnosing and monitoring Crohn’s disease, which may require repeated or ongoing imaging tests.
