RAO is always looking for ways to expand and enhance our care to patients, and that includes introducing accomplished new members to our service team. Edward Todd, PA-C, is a Physician Assistant certified by the National Commission of Certification of PAs, meaning Edward receives at least 100 hours of continuing education every two years and routinely undergoes and passes national recertification testing to retain the esteemed “C” in PA-C.
Edward earned his BA degree in Biology in 1992 and went on to garner his Master of Medical Science and Physician Assistant designation from Atlanta’s Emory University School of Medicine in 1994. He earned his certification in 1995.
From there, Edward assisted various physicians and healthcare providers, including a cardiovascular and thoracic surgical practice, a spine surgeon, and two surgical centers, where Edward assisted in a complete array of surgical specialties and was promoted to act as Team Leader to 10 surgical first-assistants. Edward has extensive experience and training in examining patients, prescribing medication, diagnosing and treating illness, interpreting imaging and much more.
Edward holds credentials with The Villages Regional Hospital, Ocala Regional Medical Center, Florida Hospital Ocala and North Florida Regional Medical Center.
RAO is delighted to welcome Edward to our Center for Vascular Health (CVH), our state-of-the-art center dedicated to accurate evaluation and effective treatment of vascular conditions and certain non-vascular diseases.
